ΔΕΗ Tour of Hellas 2026: A national mission involving 108 cities and villages in 44 Municipalities and five Regions

The ΔΕΗ Tour of Hellas, Greece’s largest annual international cycling race, returns in 2026 with a five-day route spanning five regions and involving 44 municipalities.

A total of 108 cities, towns and villages will feature along this year’s route, highlighting the country’s landscape and regional diversity as the race makes its way to the final stage in Attica.

For the first time, the event will be broadcast live on national television via ERT2 Sports, while continuing to stream on the ERTFLIX platform. Coverage will include both race action and pre- and post-stage segments, with on-site reporting from each start and finish location.

International participation and reach

The race will take place from May 6 to 10, with 18 professional teams and the national teams of Greece and Cyprus set to compete. The route passes through Epirus, Western Greece, Central Greece and Thessaly before concluding in Attica.
According to organisers, the 2025 edition generated media exposure valued at €8.3 million, underlining the event’s role in promoting both local communities and the national economy.

This year’s race is expected to attract its largest number of international broadcasts to date, with more than 15 media outlets having already requested live coverage.
